UR Mission
Our mission at My Surf Homepage is not just to cover all elements of Surf related lifestyle and activity, but also to raise awareness and assist to increase support for those organisations who make a difference in the lives of others. Often these organizations support those less fortunate and less resourced in areas heavily entwined in the surfing community. Please take the time to get to learn who our partners and friends of the surf community are, so we can spread support to the worldwide surfing community and it's people. The ability to make a difference whether financial, through active participation or spreading the word verbally is in our hands...
SurfAid is a non-profit (NGO) humanitarian aid organization with offices in the USA, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand.SurfAid continues to grow and in turn develop a highly professional and accountable organizational structure. Since the 2004 Tsunami and the March 2005 Nias Earthquake, SurfAid has provided disaster relief and increased its commitment to developing long term sustainable community health through the prevention of treatable disease and community education.SurfAid’s expansion has allowed us to greatly increase our scope of work and the number of beneficiaries we will assist with country boards established in Australia, New Zealand and the USA.SurfAid’s new organizational structure has improved and expanded our governance and management systems allowing for the recent formation of an international board of directors from each country board. the SurfAid eNewsletter!
